I just wanted to say once again THANK YOU for donating to this family. I know they appreciate it more then words can say.
I just heard from Della and they are hanging in there but it is crazy with everyone in one room and no power. The generator is an old one the town is letting them use so can only do so many things at one time but thankfully it is holding up.
They were told today it will probably be early next month before they get power back as they are doing the larger cities first and not the life threatening situations.
I will keep you updated here and on myspace when I hear more.

Right now this family is without power for the 3rd day and 4th night-they have a small generator that is being used to keep Andy alive and them warm.
They have heat in his room (keresone is $10 a gallon right now) so there are 7 of them staying in that one small room to keep warm. This includes two 2 year old boys!
I am asking for anyone that is able to even donate $5 for this family to please do so as every little bit will help. Right now they are telling the kids there is no Christmas presents as all the money they can get their hands on is going for fuel to keep Andy alive and them warm. Della is bypassing what meds she can to use the money for heat.
If anyone would like to donate presents or stocking stuffers for the boys that would be great too. I have sent each of the boys a gift but would love to see them get more.
This is not a family that asks for help easily and they give out more then their fair share of help.
They were running a clothes drive for homeless people until this storm hit and shut out their power.

We all have more than one purpose and we believethat we all share a common purpose as well...making a difference in otherpeople's lives! Let me introduce you to Andy Dalberg. Andy was born with spinabifida along with many other health problems. Andy's little brother is aspecial needs kid too and now their mom, Della Ann has developed a neurologicaldisorder that is gonna require surgery and she faces a big possibility ofhaving some paralysis as a result. She is is also raising her deceasedsister-in-law's 2 year old son. Andy, who is 12 now, is a remakable young man.Even though he is in such bad shape, he has such an amazing spirit and outlookon life. He actually prays for other people's needs that are so much less thanhis families. A few weeks ago, he and his mom, Della Ann went out and deliveredcoats, blankets, food, etc that they had collected to homeless people in theirarea. Andy & Della Ann are in desperate need of our help...
